The responsibility of my home was becoming such a burden. It seemed I was always calling someone for repairs or service. I had to get a new roof, snow shoveling, mowing and the list goes on and on. Here at Canton Christian Home I'm treated to having all those things done for me! The maintenance men hanging my pictures, change light bulbs and they even remove the snow from my car. I love having all those burdens lifted from my shoulders.
I visited many places all in the Canton area and outlying communities. I choose Canton Christian Home for the large apartments. I was able to get all the furniture I wanted into my apartment. I also like the beautifully decorated hallways, artwork, open spaces and lounges. The layout of the building is great. I also liked the flexibility of the meal plans. I only pay for the meals I choose and I like the variety of choices I have at each meal.
The residents are so friendly. I didn't know anyone when I moved in and I have made so many friends. I love it here.

I was so apprehensive about making the move to Canton Christian Home. I had lived in my own home for over 40 years and I didn't want to leave it. However, I knew I couldn't manage the house on my own, it was just too much. When I moved to Canton Christian home and opened the door to my room I felt right at home, my own furniture, my family pictures on the walls, I was so relieved I started to cry. My family had set the room up and I am so comfortable.
There is so much to enjoy. I love the gift shop where I can buy cards and stamps and keep up with birthdays and special events for my family and friends. There are a variety of activities each day. I can be as active as I want to be.
I'm a people person and everyone is so friendly. When you walk down the hall every one speaks to you. I enjoy having other people to talk to. I feel safe, I know that what ever I need it's all right here.
