WHAT FAITH CAN DO

The history of Canton Christian Home is a compelling story that demonstrates what faith, hard work and persistence can achieve.  In 1950 the ladies of the East End Missionary class of the First Christian Church in downtown Canton saw a need for their older members to have a Christian care facility.  They approached the pastor of their congregation and he suggested they see what they could do with the idea.  And so they did!  They began with a mason jar they would pass around at their meetings and fill with coins and cash at each meeting.  From those humble beginnings the vision that became Canton Christian Home community was born.
