Life at CCH

You wake up snug and cozy in your apartment, decorated with your valued treasures. You feel like you are truly home as you get ready to begin a fun-filled day. After your morning walk, you pick up your newspaper and head off to a delicious, made-from-scratch breakfast. You see several smiling faces along the way. You're feeling hungry so you select a fluffy stack of pancakes with a side of bacon and a freshly brewed cup of coffee as you sit in the cafe with a few friends, enjoying good conversation.

After breakfast, you head off to the gift shop. It’s your daughter’s birthday, and you need to pick up a card and a gift. By that time, you are ready to head off to the inspiring, serene chapel, where you take part in Bible study.

Your stomach is rumbling, and after Bible study you look forward to making your way to the dining room for a yummy lunch. After enjoying a sandwich and a comforting bowl of soup, to head out on a bus trip to Amish Country for a CCH trip!

You board the CCH bus, and today the itinerary is the bank, the pharmacy, and the local markets, where you pick up some fresh produce to enjoy. When you get back to CCH, you have some free time, so you curl up on a cozy chair and dive into a good book. But in the back of your mind, you’re trying to decide...what are you going to choose for dinner? Do you feel like cooking for yourself, or enjoying one of the many options in the cafe or dining room? You opt to head to the dining room for a freshly made dinner.

Before bed, you decide to fit in a few games of Euchre with friends, and a few other friendly faces decide to join the game. You’re always making new friends! You head to bed at night smiling as you recall the memories of the day and filled with the contentment that you have chosen a rich, full life at Canton Christian Home.
